RESOLUTION
OF THE
MAYOR AND ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS
TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT
SECTION 2 OF THE CITY CHARTER
A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland and Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1981 Replacement Volume and
Supplements), title "Corporations-Municipal", to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of the Charter of the City
of Annapolis, for the purpose of establishing an Office of Law
for the City, to be administered by a City Attorney appointed by
the Mayor and confirmed by the Aldermen, and staffed by such
assistants and outside attorneys as may be deemed necessary,
subject to the availability of funds and such other conditions of
employment as may be prescribed by the Mayor and Aldermen;
providing that the City Attorney shall not maintain any outside,
private practice, except as may be authorized by the Mayor and
Aldermen; specifying the powers and duties of the City Attorney;
restating the qualifications of the City Attorney; and all
matters relating generally thereto.
[Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Annapolis, Anne
Arundel County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

SECTION 28 OF THE CITY CHARTER
A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland and Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1981 Replacement Volume and
Supplements), title "Corporations-Municipal", to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 28 of the Charter of the City
of Annapolis, for the purpose of expanding and restating the
authority of the medical review board established by said
section; providing that said board may review and evaluate the
medical condition of any employee or employee retired by reason
of disability referred to it as provided for by ordinance, and to
make recommendations with respect to continued qualification for
