Special Fund Appropriation.........
29.05.00.03 Operations
Special Fund Appropriation,
provided that expenditure of
$1,725,000 contained herein for
1985 license plate purchases
shall be contingent upon passage
of House Bill 34 or Senate Bill
187 establishing a single license
plate requirement. It is also
the intent of the General
Assembly that the fee charged for
the commemorative license plate
be sufficient to recover all
costs associated with the
production of the tags, provided
that $754,300 of this
appropriation for 1985 license
plate purchases shall not be
expended and shall revert to the
Transportation Trust Fund if
House Bill 34 or Senate Bill 187

Program for operating expenses

29.05.00.04 Safety Responsibility
Special Fund Appropriation.........
It is the intent of the General
Assembly that the Department try
to recover all expenses of the
Alcoholic Education Program and
the Driver Improvement Program
from fees charged of the
participants of the program. Any
portions of the funds contained
herein ($856,000) for the
operations of the programs
recovered through the fees shall
not be expended and shall revert
to the Transportation Trust Fund.
The Department should implement
these cost recovery procedures by
September 1, 1983.
