HARRY HUGHES, Governor
following election districts or towns of [said] THE county:
Laytonsville (1st district), Clarksburg (2nd district),
Darnestown (6th district), and Damascus (12th district), and the
towns of Barnesville, Kensington, Takoma Park and Washington
Grove. In the town of Barnesville, the Montgomery County board
of license commissioners may issue a special 7 day on-sale beer,
wine, and liquor license to any bona fide religious, fraternal,
civic, or charitable organization. [(a-l) For the purposes of subsection (a) of this section
"place of business" shall not include country clubs.] [(a-2) Section 37 (a)] (3) THIS SUBSECTION does not
prohibit the issuance of an on-sale license for the sale of beer
only during daylight hours only for any restaurant or snack bar
or similar facility located upon land owned by the Montgomery
County [revenue authority] REVENUE AUTHORITY and operated by the
[revenue authority] REVENUE AUTHORITY or others in connection
with the operation by the [revenue authority] REVENUE AUTHORITY
of a public golf course. [(a-3) Section 37 (a)] (4) THIS SUBSECTION does not
prohibit the issuance of an on-sale license for the sale of beer
and wine for any restaurant located upon land owned by the
Montgomery County Revenue Authority and operated by the [revenue
authority] REVENUE AUTHORITY or others in connection with the
operation of an airport.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. Approved April 12, 1983.
CHAPTER 53 (House Bill 773) AN ACT concerning Montgomery County - Alcoholic Beverages - Board of License Commissioners MC 216-83 FOR the purpose of altering the terms term of office of members
one member of the Montgomery County Board of License
Commissioners; renumbering; clarifying language; and
providing for an abnormal effective date; and providing that
the term alterations of the members of the board may not be
construed to apply to the terms of the members in
office on the effective date of this Act.
