SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the initial
consumer members of this Board shall be appointed by July 1,
1984, and that one shall serve a term of 1 year, to end June 30,
1985, and the other a term of 2 years, to end June 30, 1986.
Either of the initial consumer members may be reappointed for
full terms.

AN ACT concerning

Division of Labor and Industry -
Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner
FOR the purpose of permitting the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry to appoint the Deputy Commissioner with the
approval of the Secretary of Licensing and Regulation;
clarifying that the office of Commissioner is a full-time
office; allowing the deputy holding office on the effective
date of this Act to continue in the position subject to
Article 64A; repealing certain provisions relating to the
selection and salary of the deputy; repealing certain
obsolete provisions; and generally relating to the
Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the Division of
Labor and Industry.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
