(d) (2) (i) The Secretary shall appoint a committee to
determine the information required under paragraph (1) of this
[section] SUBSECTION.
18-208.
(a) (2) (ii) A physician may act under this paragraph only
until the health officer completes the investigation under
paragraph (1) of this subsection OR, if sooner, until the
emergency ends.
19-125.
The Secretary:
(1) On the Secretary's initiative or on request of a
community or voluntary, nonprofit organization, may do a survey
to identify any area in this State that has a SUBSTANTIAL
deficiency in general medical or health care facilities or
services;
(2) In cooperation with appropriate county and State
groups, may provide the community or organization with counsel
and other help to establish medical or health care facilities and
to recruit medical or health care staff in that area; and
(3) If the efforts under item (2) of this section are
unsuccessful, may provide the facilities or staff by contract
with one or more physicians, hospitals, or other medical groups
or personnel.
19-210.
The Commission shall:
(4) Concern itself with solutions if a facility does
not have enough resources; AND
(5) Assure each purchaser of health care facility
services that:
(i) The total costs of the facility are related
reasonably to the total services that the facility offers;
(ii) The aggregate rates of the facility are
related reasonably to the aggregate costs of the facility; and
(iii) Rates are set equitably among all
purchasers of services without undue discrimination.
19-323.
(b) Before the license expires, the licensee periodically
may renew it for an additional term, if the licensee:
