SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Transportation
13-920.
(A) If the shipping weight of the chassis and battery of a
Class E (truck) vehicle, as certified by the manufacturer, is
more than 2,500 pounds and if the vehicle is equipped as a tow
truck and is used [only] to tow vehicles for repair, storage, or
removal from the highways, the registration fee for that vehicle
is the same as that for a vehicle with a maximum gross weight of
17,000 pounds, as set forth in § 13-916 (b) of this subtitle,
notwithstanding the actual shipping weight of its chassis and
battery.
(B) EXCEPT FOR TOW TRUCKS OPERATED BY DEALERS, AUTOMOTIVE
DISMANTLERS OR RECYCLERS, AND SCRAP PROCESSORS DISPLAYING SPECIAL
REGISTRATION PLATES ISSUED PURSUANT TO TITLE 13 OF THIS
ARTICLE, THE VEHICLE SHALL DISPLAY A DISTINCTIVE REGISTRATION
PLATE AS AUTHORIZED BY THE ADMINISTRATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

AN ACT concerning
Condominiums
FOR the purpose of defining a certain term; providing for notice
of certain meetings of the council of unit owners and board
of directors; providing for open meetings and for closed
meetings under certain circumstances; conferring certain
powers on the council of unit owners; providing for the
contents and adoption of an amendment to the budget; and
generally relating to meetings, budgets, and the council of
unit owners under the Maryland Condominium Act.
