1708 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 542
Department. No substantive change is intended.
Conversely, "multiuse sewerage system" is not added to
subsection (a)(8), (10), and (11) of this section
since, by definition, a multiuse sewerage system
cannot be publicly owned and subsection (a)(8), (10),
and (11) of this section relates to components of a
county plan that may be publicly financed. See also
the revisor's note to § 9-501(i) of this subtitle. In subsection (a)(10) and (13) of this section,
"planned" is substituted for the former term
"programmed", for clarity. No substantive change is
intended. In subsection (a)(13) of this section, the former
reference to "applicable rules or regulations adopted
by the Department" under former HE § 9-506 is deleted
as unnecessary and to conform to the revision of parts
of former HE § 9-506, which now appears in §§
9-506(b), 9-507(a), (b)(1), and (c), and 9-508(a) of
this subtitle, as statutory powers and duties. See
the revisor's note to §§ 9-506 and 9-507 of this
subtitle. In subsection (a)(13)(ii) and (vi) of this section,
reference to use in addition to installation of a
system is added to conform to other items in this
paragraph. Also in subsection (a)(13)(x) of this section,
"described area" is substituted for the former
reference to "community", for clarity. In subsection (a)(15) of this section, the former
reference to "trash" is deleted as included in the
defined term "litter". 9-506. SAME -- REVIEW BY OFFICIAL PLANNING AGENCIES; PROGRESS
REPORTS; SUBMITTING REPORTS TO DEPARTMENT. (A) REVIEW BY OFFICIAL PLANNING AGENCIES. (1)   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS
SUBSECTION, BEFORE ADOPTING ITS COUNTY PLAN, EACH COUNTY SHALL
SUBMIT THE PROPOSED COUNTY PLAN TO EACH OFFICIAL PLANNING AGENCY
THAT HAS JURISDICTION IN THE COUNTY, INCLUDING ANY COMPREHENSIVE
PLANNING AGENCY WITH AREAWIDE JURISDICTION, FOR REVIEW FOR
CONSISTENCY WITH PLANNING PROGRAMS FOR THE AREA. (2)   IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY,
THE REVIEW AND COMMENTS OF THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND
PLANNING COMMISSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH § 9-516 OF THIS SUBTITLE
CONSTITUTE FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENT FOR REVIEW BY AN
OFFICIAL PLANNING AGENCY UNDER THIS SUBSECTION.
