CHAPTER 532 (Senate Bill 435) AN ACT concerning Personal Property Tax - Exemption FOR the purpose of exempting from State property taxation certain
personal property; allocating a certain amount of net
receipts from the tax on net income of corporations to the
General Fund of the State; directing the Board of Public
Works to certify a certain rate of property tax on certain
personal property in certain years; providing that the
exemption becomes effective upon the repayment of certain
State bonds; providing for the effect of laws inconsistent
with this Act; and providing a certain effective date for
this Act. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 31 - Debt - Public Section 23 Annotated Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes Section 9A(a) and 288A Annotated Code of Maryland (1980 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
BY adding to Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes Section 9A(o) Annotated Code of Maryland (1980 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
