(d) Having registered in one election district or precinct,
to attempt or offer to register in any other election district or
precinct, not having a legal right to register therein;
(e) Knowingly or wilfully to falsify his resident with the
intent to register in the wrong district or precinct;
(f) Knowingly or wilfully to do any unlawful act to secure
registration for himself or any other person;
(g) Knowingly, wilfully or fraudulently, by false
impersonation or otherwise, or by any unlawful means to cause or
procure or attempt to cause or procure, the name of any qualified
voter in any election district or precinct to be erased or
stricken, as in this article provided, from any registry of the
voters of such district or precinct made in pursuance of this
article or otherwise;
(h) By force, threat, menace, intimidation, bribery, reward
or offer or promise thereof, or other unlawful means to prevent,
hinder or delay any person having a lawful right to register or
be registered from duly exercising such right;
(i) Knowingly, wilfully or fraudulently to compel or induce
or attempt or offer to compel or induce, by such means or by any
unlawful means, any officer of registration in any election
district or precinct to register, or attempt to register any
person not lawfully entitled to registration in such district or
precinct;
(j) To register any false, assumed or fictitious name, or
any name of any person, except as provided in this article;
(k) Knowingly, wilfully or fraudulently to interfere with,
hinder or delay any officer of registration in the discharge of
his duties;
(1) To counsel, advise or induce, or attempt to induce any
such officer to refuse or neglect to comply with or perform his
duties, or to violate any law prescribed for regulating the same;
(m) To aid, counsel, procure or advise any voter, person or
officer of registration to do any act by law forbidden, or in
this article constituting an offense, or to omit to do any act by
law directed to be done.
24-2.
Every person convicted of any offense under the provisions
of this section shall be punished by A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $100
NOR MORE THAN $2,500 OR BY imprisonment in jail or in the
penitentiary for not less than six months nor more than five
years, OR BOTH, IN THE DISCRETION OF THE COURT. The following
offenses shall be applicable to any election:
