(2)   If the primary purpose of the reclamation project
is to benefit the health, safety, and environmental values of the
general public; (3)   If the cost of filing the lien exceeds the
increase in the fair market value of the property as a result of
the reclamation project; or (4)   If the reclamation project is necessitated by an
unforeseen occurrence and the project does not significantly
increase the fair market value of the property.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983. Approved May 24, 1983.
CHAPTER 387 (House Bill 703) AN ACT concerning Campaign Contributions FOR the purpose of repealing an absolute prohibition against
contributions of greater than $2,500 to committees for the
purpose of promoting or defeating the passage of certain
questions, principles, propositions, or - referendum
questions; and generally relating to contributions to
committees. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 33 - Election Code Section 26-9(b) Annotated Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 33 - Election Code 26-9. (b) [(1)] It is unlawful for any individual, association,
unincorporated association, corporation, or any other entity
either directly or indirectly, to contribute any money or thing
