(Senate Bill 830)
AN ACT concerning Vehicle Laws - Emergency Vehicles
FOR the purpose of including vehicles of the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems within the definition of "emergency vehicle" in the Maryland Vehicle Law; and providing for certain vehicles to be equipped with and     display certain lights and signal devices.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Transportation 11-118. "Emergency vehicle" means any of the following vehicles that
are designated by the Administration as entitled to the
exemptions and privileges set forth in the Maryland Vehicle Law
for emergency vehicles: (1) Vehicles of federal, State, or local law
enforcement agencies;
