(e) A current and unrevoked licensee, OR A PERSON WHO HAS
BEEN GRANTED A SALESMAN'S LICENSE AND WHO IS NOT PRESENTLY
AFFILIATED WITH A REAL ESTATE BROKER, may return [his] THE
license to the Commission and have the license placed on inactive
status. While the license is on inactive status, the licensee
must still pay the regular license fee. The license may remain
in this status for a period of [two] 4 years. An inactive
licensee may not act as a real estate broker or salesman. An
inactive license may be reinstated to active status 30 days after
a request for reinstatement, [and] payment of all fees due, AND
SUBMISSION OF PROOF OF COMPLIANCE WITH ALL CONTINUING EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS. If the license has been on inactive status for
more than [two] 4 years, the licensee shall meet the current
educational requirements for reinstatement of the license to
active status.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

CHAPTER 353
(Senate Bill 644)
AN ACT concerning
Motor Vehicles - Arrest Without Warrant
FOR the purpose of allowing a police officer to arrest certain
persons without a warrant when the officer has probable
cause to believe the person is driving or attempting to
drive a motor vehicle while his driver's license or
privilege to drive is suspended or revoked; providing that
certain persons be excepted from release on issuance of a
written citation if a District Court commissioner, judge,
clerk, or other public officer authorized to accept bail for
the court is not available; and making a certain grammatical
correction.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Transportation
Section 26-202(a)(3) and 26-402(a)
