(Senate Bill 476)
AN ACT concerning
Commission on Medical Discipline of Maryland - Membership
FOR the purpose of altering the appointment procedures for
certain members of the Commission on Medical Discipline of
Maryland; and providing for the substitution of the present
president of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of the
State of Maryland as an ex officio member of the Commission
with the president-elect of the Faculty; and providing for
the selection of practicing licensed physician members of
the Commission from Faculty submitted appointments lists.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health Occupations
14-402.
(a) (1) The Commission consists of 11 members.
(2) Of the 11 Commission members:
(i) 2 shall be ex officio members:
1. The [president] PRESIDENT-ELECT of the
Faculty; and
2. The chairman of the council of the
Faculty;
(ii) 7 shall be appointed by the Secretary, of
