AN OUT-OF-STATE COURT REPORTER COMMISSIONED AS A NOTARY
PUBLIC MAY CHARGE THE FEES PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 36, SECTION 23 OF
THE CODE THAT APPLY TO THE LIMITED NOTARY SERVICE FOR THE
SERVICES THE OUT-OF-STATE NOTARY HAS THE POWER TO PERFORM.

SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION, LIMITED NOTARY
PUBLIC COMMISSIONS FOR OUT-OF-STATE REPORTERS SHALL BE ISSUED
ONLY TO PERSONS RESIDING IN STATES, OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA,
WHICH ALLOW SIMILAR CERTIFICATION FOR MARYLAND RESIDENT NOTARIES
PUBLIC.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1983.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings
10-301.
The speed of a motor vehicle may be proved by evidence of a
test made upon it with a device designed to measure AND,
indicate, [and] OR record the speed of a moving object by means
of radio-micro waves.
