1004 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 277
(b) (1) The County Commissioners of Calvert County are
hereby authorized to issue the following types of licenses for
the operating or conducting of games of bingo within Calvert
County. All licenses issued pursuant to this section shall be
prepared in triplicate, one copy to be retained by the County
Commissioners of Calvert County, one copy to be forwarded to the
State Comptroller, and one copy to be delivered to the licensee. Class NA. Not exceeding [seven hundred and fifty] 750
persons, seating or player capacity with an annual license fee of
[three thousand seven hundred fifty dollars] $3,500. Class NB. Not exceeding [five hundred] 500 persons,
seating or player capacity, with an annual license fee of [three
thousand dollars] $3,000. Class NC. Not exceeding [one thousand] 1,000 persons,
seating or player capacity with an annual license fee of [six
thousand dollars] $4,000. Class ND, beach. Not exceeding [five hundred] 500
persons, seating or player capacity with an annual license fee of
[five hundred dollars] $500. Class NE, beach. Not exceeding [one thousand] 1,000
persons, seating or player capacity with an annual license fee of
[one thousand dollars] $1,000. Class NF, beach. Not exceeding [five hundred] 500
persons, seating or player capacity, with an annual license fee
of [three thousand dollars] $3,000. CLASS NG, BEACH. NO LIMITATION ON SEATING OR PLAYER
CAPACITY, WITH AN ANNUAL LICENSE FEE OF $5,000. (2)  Each license shall authorize the licensee to
operate a bingo game; subject however to the limitation upon
seating and player capacity established for such license. It
shall be lawful for the licensee of any such licensed game to
issue merchandise, coins, currency, tokens, or tickets redeemable
in cash or merchandise, or any other thing of value as a prize or
award to the patrons of such licensed game[; provided, however,
that]. EXCEPT FOR A CLASS NG BEACH LICENSE, no prize or award
having a value of more than [one hundred dollars] $100 shall be
issued on any one game, except that one each day a grand prize of
not exceeding [one thousand five hundred dollars] $1,500 and one
grand prize of not exceeding [three thousand dollars] $3,000 in
retail value may be issued. (3)  All applications for the issuance of such
licenses shall be filed not less than [thirty] 30 days prior to
the issuance of such license by the County Commissioners of
Calvert County, which application shall set forth:
