EMERGENCY BILL
AN ACT concerning
Public Service Commission - Rate Increases
FOR the purpose of prohibiting the Public Service Commission
from granting another rate increase to certain public
service companies for a certain period of time; and
making this Act an emergency measure.

Section 71A

Credit Transactions - Maximum Rates
FOR the purpose of establishing maximum rates of interest or
finance charge on certain loans, forbearances of money,
retail credit accounts, retail installment sales
transactions, and other credit and loan transactions
for which maximum rates are permitted and regulated by
State law; generally relating to interest rates and
finance charges; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Commercial Law
Section 12-103(a)(3) and (c)(1), 12-306(a), 12-505(a),
12-506(a), 12-609(f), 12-610, and 12-634(c)
