AN ACT concerning
Pensions - Service Time Credit
FOR the purpose of including previous service time with the
State or with a public school as a teacher for credit
towards eligibility for benefits in the State
Employees' and Teachers' Pension Systems.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 73B - Pensions
Section 115(9) and 144(9)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1978 Replacement Volume and 1981 Supplement)
The Speaker put the question: Shall the Bill pass,
notwithstanding the objections of the Executive?
The roll call vote resulted as follows:
Affirmative: 2 Negative: 127
