Senate Bill No. 1069
AN ACT concerning
State Vehicles - Allocation of Use
FOR the purpose of altering the criteria for allocation of
state-owned motor vehicles for use by State employees;
and authorizing the Secretary to reassign State
vehicles under certain circumstances.
State-Owned Motor Vehicles - Reassignment
FOR the purpose of providing that the Secretary of Budget
and Fiscal Planning may reassign, on an
interdepartmental basis, state-owned motor vehicles
under certain conditions; and authorizing alternate
criteria for assigning motor vehicles under certain
circumstances.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 15A - Budget and Fiscal Planning
Section 23A(b)

Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 1091.
This bill authorizes the Carroll County Commissioners
to establish a fund for self insurance of county property
and provides that the County Commissioners may set certain
limits on the fund.
