REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly appeared as
Article 43, § 878(d)(1).

In item (1) of this subsection, the former
reference to "legal entities" is deleted as
unnecessary in light of the use of the defined
term "person".

The only other changes are in style.

Former Article 43, § 878(d)(2) and (3), which
related to the policies, supervision, and record
keeping of a home health agency, seemed
substantive and, therefore, now appears in §
19-404 of. this subtitle.

Similarly, the substance of former Article 43, §
878(d)(4), which provided that the term "home
health agency" did not include a person otherwise
licensed, now appears in § 19-403 of this
subtitle.

(C) HOME HEALTH CARE.

"HOME HEALTH CARE" INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING BROAD RANGE
OF SERVICES THAT ARE ADMINISTERED CENTRALLY AND UNDER THE
GENERAL DIRECTION OF A PHYSICIAN:

(1)  AUDIOLOGY AND SPEECH PATHOLOGY.

(2)  DIETARY AND NUTRITIONAL SERVICES.

(3)  DRUG SERVICES.

(4)  HOME HEALTH AID.

(5)  LABORATORY.

(6)  MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICES.

(7)  NURSING.

(8)  OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY.

(9)  PHYSICAL THERAPY.

(10)  PROVISION OF MEDICALLY NECESSARY SICK ROOM
EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES.
