article. Therefore, the former reference to a
"person, partnership, association or corporation"
is deleted as unnecessary.

(I) PERSONAL CARE.

(1)   "PERSONAL CARE" MEANS A SERVICE THAT AN
INDIVIDUAL NORMALLY WOULD PERFORM PERSONALLY, BUT FOR WHICH
THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS HELP FROM ANOTHER BECAUSE OF ADVANCED
AGE, INFIRMITY, OR PHYSICAL OR MENTAL LIMITATION.

(2)   "PERSONAL CARE" INCLUDES:

(I)  HELP IN WALKING;

(II)  HELP IN GETTING IN AND OUT OF BED;

(III)  HELP IN BATHING;

(IV)  HELP IN DRESSING;

(V)  HELP IN FEEDING; AND

(VI)  GENERAL SUPERVISION AND HELP IN DAILY
LIVING.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly appeared as
Article 43, § 556(i).

In paragraph (2) of this subsection, the former
phrase "but is not limited to" is deleted as
unnecessary in light of the use of the defined
term "includes".

The only other changes are in style.
