MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
of Maryland; Maryland Code (1957, 1981 Repl. Vol.) Article
23A; and the Charter of the Town of St. Michaels (1980),
Article II, Section 14, to amend the Charter of the Town of
St. Michaels (1980) as follows:
[Section 1-6, Article XI of the Charter of St.
Michaels, Talbot County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date July 1, 1981]

RESOLUTION NO. 224
A RESOLUTION of the Council of The City of Salisbury
proposing the annexation to the City of Salisbury of a
certain area of land situated contiguous to and binding upon
the Southeastern corporate limits of the City of Salisbury,
popularly known as Centenary Drive, and bounded on the West
by the corporate limits, bounded on the North by the
corporate limits, bounded on the East by line running East
of and parallel to Centenary Drive and bounded on the South
by line running South of and parallel to White Street.
WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has received a petition
to annex, signed by at least 25% of the persons who are
eligible property owners in the area sought to be annexed
and being contiguous to and binding upon the Southeasterly
corporate limits of The City of Salisbury, and called the
Centenary Drive Annexation for identification, and
WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has caused to be made a
certification of the signatures on said consent to
annexation and has verified that the persons signing the
petition represent at least 25% of the persons who are
eligible property owners in the area to be annexed, all as
of July 20, 1981, as will more particularly appear by the
certification of Joseph L. Strahl, Deputy Director of Public
Works of The City of Salisbury, attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the consents meet all the
requirements of the law.

of Salisbury, Wicomico County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
