RESOLUTION NO. 4701

PROPOSED RESOLUTION - WOODLAND FARMS, INC., ANNEXATION

WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of land adjacent and
contiguous to part of the existing westerly corporate
boundary of the Town of Easton has been filed by Woodland
Farm, Inc., pursuant to Section 19, Article 23 A, Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957); and

WHEREAS, The Town of Easton has verified that the area
proposed to be annexed pursuant to said petition is in fact
contiguous and adjacent to the existing corporate area; and
that Woodland Farms, Inc., is the owner of over twenty-five
percent of the assessed valuation of the real property
located in said area to be annexed, and represents over
twenty-five percent of the property owners located therein;

[Section 2 of the Charter of Easton of Talbot County,
repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date April 2, 1981]
