RESOLUTION
OF THE
MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF ANNAPOLIS
TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT
SECTIONS 70 AND 72 OF THE CITY CHARTER
A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and Supplements), title "Corporations-Municipal", to
repeal and re-enact Sections 70 and 72 of the Charter of the
City of Annapolis, for the purpose of increasing the amount
of the aggregate principal amount which the Mayor and
Aldermen of the City of Annapolis are authorized and
empowered to borrow upon the faith and credit of the City
for the payment of obligations of the City from one million
five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000.00) to three
million dollars ($3,000,000.00); to further authorize the
Mayor and Aldermen to issue notes of the City of Annapolis
to secure sums so borrowed as obligations of the City up to
the aggregate principal amount at any one time outstanding
and unpaid of three million dollars ($3,000,000.00);
re-enacting all other provisions of Sections 70 and 72 of
the Charter; and all matters relating generally thereto.
[Sections 70 and 72 of the Charter of the City of
Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

CLASSIFICATION FOR A PARCEL OF GROUND "
CONTAINING 1.07 ACRES, MORE OR LESS,
LOCATED ON CHINK'S POINT CONTIGUOUS TO
THE EXISTING BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS,
AND FOR A CHARTER AMENDMENT TO
AMEND SECTION 1(a) OF THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS TO REFLECT
THE CHANGE IN THE BOUNDARY LINE OF THE
CITY OF ANNAPOLIS RESULTING FROM SUCH ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, Annapolis Boat Rentals, Inc. has requested The
Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis to consider the
annexation of a parcel of ground containing 1.07 acres, more
or less, located on Chink's Point contiguous to the existing
boundary of the City of Annapolis, to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Annapolis; and
