B(14) Protect Maryland's shores from
erosion and incompatible development.

B(15) Emphasize the protection of
significant natural resources in the
acquisition of parks and open space.

B(16) Manage renewable resources for
productivity and continued usefulness and
availability.

B(17) Conserve and protect non-renewable
resources.

B(18) Develop and promote a strategy to
conserve Maryland's ground and surface
water supplies.

B(19) Protect significant historical and
archaeological sites.

C. Policies to increase economic development and
employment opportunities throughout the State for
the well being of Maryland's residents:

C(l) Assist local governments and the
private sector in encouraging industrial
and business development.

C(2) Bring new businesses and industries
to Maryland and promote the retention and
growth of existing enterprises.

C(3) Promote employment opportunities for
