(f) Study those components of the criminal
justice and juvenile justice systems which
involve private citizens as victims, witnesses,
or jurors, and recommend specific means to
enhance citizen understanding of those
components;
(g) Review recent action by the General
Assembly to control crime and to improve the
criminal justice system and recommend appropriate
further legislative action, if necessary, for
introduction in the 1983 session and the 1984
session of the General Assembly;
(h) Review laws and programs at the
Federal, State and local levels throughout the
country which address crime prevention and which
attempt to improve the criminal justice system
and identify those laws and programs which are
particularly suitable for implementation in this
State; and
(i) Submit to the Governor and the General
Assembly two interim reports by November 1, 1982,
and November 1, 1983, and submit to the Governor
and the General Assembly a final report of this
Commission with its findings and recommendations
no later than June 1, 1984.
5. Each State agency shall cooperate fully with
the Commission in its efforts to accomplish its mandate
under this order.
