matters;
(5) Representatives of public and
private agencies and organizations
concerned with juvenile delinquency
prevention and control;
(6) Representatives of various
components of the criminal justice
system, including police, courts,
corrections, prosecutors, and defense
attorneys;
(7) Representatives of the Judiciary
including the Chief Judicial
Administrative Officer of the State,
and a Local Trial Court Judicial
Officer;
(8) The Chair and at least 2
representatives of the Juvenile
Advisory Committee of the Maryland
Criminal Justice Coordinating Council
who are not government employees or
elected officials;
(9) Representatives of the general
public including representatives of
neighborhood and community based
organizations, business and
professional organizations who are
not full-time government employees or
elected officials.
(d) The Governor shall select the chair
and vice chair from among the members
appointed under paragraph 1. (b) and (c).
(e) The term of membership is 4 years. In
case of a vacancy, the Governor shall
appoint a successor for the remainder of
the unexpired term.
(f) The Governor may remove any member who
is not an ex officio designate for any
cause adversely affecting the member's
ability or willingness to perform his or
her duties.
(g) The Chief Judge of the Court of
