(B) ADDITIONAL FACILITIES.

AS A FACILITY IS BUILT OR TRANSFERRED TO THE
ADMINISTRATION, THE FACILITY MAY BE MADE A STATE FACILITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a)(1),   (2), (3), (5), and

(6) and (b) of this section    are new language

derived without substantive    change from former
Article 59, § 31(a) and (b).

Subsection (a)(4), (7), (8), and (9) of this
section is new language added to reflect State

facilities now directly controlled by the
Administration. The. addition of the Walter P.
Carter Community Mental Health and Retardation
Center and the Highland Health Facility is based
on the references to them as a "State mental
hospital" in ET § 13-709. As to the Thomas B.
Finan Hospital Center, see former Article 59, §
31(d) and the General Revisor's Note to this
subtitle.

In subsection (b) of this section, the reference
to making a facility a "State facility" is
substituted for "other facilities may be brought
within the jurisdiction of the Commissioner", for
brevity.
