PART I. GENERAL PROVISION.

10-401. SUPERVISORY DUTY.

THE DIRECTOR SHALL SUPERVISE GENERALLY THE OPERATION OF
ALL PUBLIC STATE FACILITIES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first clause
of former Article 59, § 5.

The second clause of former Article 59, § 5,
which related to private facilities, is deleted
as inconsistent with § 10-502 of this title,
which makes the Secretary responsible for
licensing.

avoid repetition of the phrase "citizens'
advisory board for a State facility".

10-405. SCOPE OF PART II.

PART II OF THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT APPLY TO THE MARYLAND
PSYCHIATRIC RESEARCH CENTER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added to
avoid repetition of language excluding the
Maryland Psychiatric Research Center from the
provisions that apply to other State facilities.
See Part III of this subtitle.
