RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the
State Development Council which is comprised of the Lt.
Governor and the Departments of Agriculture, Economic and
Community Development, Health and Mental Hygiene, Natural
Resources, State Planning, and Transportation, in
cooperation with the Department of Human Resources,
establish a liaison and work with and understand the
programs of the Maryland Rural Development Corporation; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That the State Development Council, in
cooperation with the Department of Human Resources,
constitute a committee which will report to the 1983 session
of the General Assembly on the means by which the State
departments of Maryland and the Maryland Rural Development
Corporation may work cooperatively in advancing the
development of rural areas in the State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be sent to the
Honorable Harry Hughes, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable
Samuel W. Bogley, Lt. Governor of Maryland; the Honorable
James Clark, Jr., President of the Senate of Maryland; the
Honorable Benjamin L. Cardin, Speaker of the House of
Delegates; Wayne A. Cawley, Jr., Secretary of Agriculture,
