(a) The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene shall
submit an annual report to the Governor and, SUBJECT TO
ARTICLE 40, § 51 OF THE CODE TO THE General Assembly not
later than June 1, in each year, which summarizes the water
pollution control program for the State. The report shall
include:
(1) The status of comprehensive county water
supply and sewerage plans developed in compliance with
Article 43, § 387C of the Code;
(2) The status of implementation programs to
achieve water quality standards for the State. Outstanding
violations and the status of correction shall be included;
(3) The status of interstate compacts and
programs of interstate agencies;
(4) The status of studies and programs developed
under this subtitle;
(5) A description and the status of related
federal plans and studies; and
(6) Other State programs pertaining to water and
related land resources. The report will include proposals
and recommendations for legislative and administrative
action to improve and implement the provisions of this
section.

(g) [The] SUBJECT TO ARTICLE 40, § 51 OF THE CODE, THE
Department of Natural Resources shall prepare and submit an
annual report to the General Assembly summarizing
information on used oil collection and recycling, analyzing
the effectiveness of the act's provisions and their
implementation, and making recommendations for any necessary
changes in the provisions or their administration.

(e) The Secretary annually shall prepare a report
describing the activities of the program and recommending
improvements to the program. The report shall be submitted
to the Governor and, SUBJECT TO ARTICLE 40, § 51 OF THE
CODE, to the General Assembly not later than the February 1
following the close of the program year.
