BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 13-4

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

13-1.

It shall not be lawful to kill or injure any red fox in
Queen Anne's County, when pursued by dogs or to shoot or
shoot at any dog while pursuing a fox in Queen Anne's
County.

13-2.

It shall not be lawful to expose for sale any fox, or
hide thereof, UNLESS KILLED BY A LANDOWNER OR HIS AGENT ON
HIS LAND, at any season of the year, and it shall not be
lawful to shoot or trap any fox between November the first
and April the first in each year; provided, nothing in this
sub-title, however, shall prevent anyone from killing any
fox when found depredating on poultry or stock at any season
of the year.

13-3.

It shall be unlawful to hunt, shoot, or trap any fox in
the Fourth Election District from sunset on any day to
sunrise on the following day.

13-4.

Any person or persons guilty of violating any of the
provisions of Sections 13-1, 13-2, or 13-3 shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
pay a fine of [ten dollars] $100 FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE AND
$200 FOR EACH SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
