SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Corporations and Associations

1-203.

In addition to any bonus tax, the Department shall
collect the following fees:

(8) (I) For acceptance of service of process or
notice on the Department, the Department shall charge a fee
of $15.

(II) EACH COUNTY AND BALTIMORE CITY IS
EXEMPT FROM THE FEE UNDER PARAGRAPH (8)(I) OF THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
