Correctional Services and substituting provisions for a
single deputy secretary of public safety and
correctional services; changing certain powers and
duties of the deputy secretary; establishing certain
duties and powers of the single deputy secretary;
changing the composition of certain boards and
commissions upon which either of the 2 deputy
secretaries currently serve; providing for the
designation by the deputy secretary of a representative
to exercise all powers of the deputy secretary on
certain boards and commissions; making certain style,
numbering, and wording changes; and generally relating
to the elimination of the 2 deputy secretaries in the
Department.
