315 432.

(b) The journeyman barber's initial license shall be
valid for a period of 18 months at which time the journeyman
barber shall take the examination for the master barber's
certificate. If the journeyman barber fails to successfully
complete the examination, the journeyman barber's license
may be renewed [annually] BIENNIALLY.

317 434.

An owner of a barbershop shall obtain a license and
shall pay [an annual] A BIENNIAL license fee for each
barbershop location owned.

318 435.

Any person who has had a master barber's license for
five years prior to application, is of good moral character,
and is a high school graduate or equivalent may make
application to the Board for a barber science teacher's
license. Upon payment of an examination fee and receipt of
a passing grade on the barber science teacher's examination,
a person shall be issued a barber science teacher's license
and may then instruct students in a barber school. Issuance
and renewal of the license are subject to [an annual] A
BIENNIAL license fee. All barber science teacher's licenses
expire BIENNIALLY on [May 31 [ of each year] JANUARY
31 ] OF EACH ODD-NUMBERED YEAR.

(d) Issuance      and renewal of an assistant barber

science teacher's      license are subject to [an annual] A

BIENNIAL license     fee. All assistant barber science

teacher's licenses expire BIENNIALLY on [May 31 [_of each

year ] JANUARY 31 ] OF EACH ODD-NUMBERED YEAR.

319 437.

(a)  A person, firm, or corporation in this State may
not operate or hold itself out as operating a school,
training or instruction agency for barbers unless it has
registered with and holds a current barber school license
from the Board.

(b)  An application to open and operate a barber school
shall be forwarded to the Board, together with an initial
application fee, and such other information as the Board may
require. The Board shall consider and investigate the
application, and shall issue the license if it finds that
the personnel, physical facilities, curriculum and
organization of the barber school are satisfactory for its
purpose.
