[(a) As used in] IN PART II OF this subtitle, the
[following terms have the meanings indicated in this section
unless the context in which a term is used indicates a
contrary meaning.

(e) "Physician"] WORD "PHYSICIAN" means any person,
including a doctor of osteopathy, licensed to practice
medicine in the State of Maryland in compliance with the
provisions of Title 14 of the Health Occupations Article.
