sewage within that portion of the drainage area contributory
to the Patuxent River lying within Howard County.]

(A)  THE WSSC MAY PROVIDE A SEWAGE COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL SYSTEM FOR THE PATUXENT RIVER DRAINAGE AREA IN
HOWARD COUNTY.

(B) (1) The [commission shall have full power and
authority to] WSSC MAY enter into any contract or agreement
with [the proper authorities of] Howard County for:

(I)  [such sewage] SEWAGE disposition; and

(II)  [the] THE terms and conditions [upon]
ON which [such] THIS service [shall] MAY be performed[,].

(2) [provided, however, that none of the] THE
cost of SEWAGE disposition [of sewage hereunder shall] UNDER
THIS SECTION MAY NOT be apportioned or levied[, directly or
indirectly, to or upon] ON any property [lying] in
Montgomery County or Prince George's County.

TITLE 16. URBAN RENEWAL PROJECTS.

16-101. Definitions.

(A) IN THIS TITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE
MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B)(1) "URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY" MEANS A UNIT OF
GOVERNMENT THAT IS ENGAGED IN URBAN RENEWAL ACTIVITY.

(2) "URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY" INCLUDES:

(I)  THIS STATE;

(II)  MONTGOMERY COUNTY;

(III)  PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY; AND

(IV)  ANY UNIT OF GOVERNMENT IN MONTGOMERY
OR PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTIES.

(C)  "URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT" MEANS AN URBAN RENEWAL
PROJECT OR PROJECT UNDER TITLE 1 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949
(42 U.S.C. § 1450 ET SEQ.) IN PRINCE GEORGE'S AND MONTGOMERY
COUNTIES.
