(2) [Such] THE work shall:

(I)   [be done under and pursuant to such]
CONFORM TO THE rules, regulations, and requirements [as]
ADOPTED BY the [commission may from time to time formulate]
WSSC[,]; and

(II)  BE subject to [such] ANY inspection
[as may be deemed] THAT THE WSSC CONSIDERS necessary.

(B)  (1) [No connection of any kind shall] A HOOKUP MAY
NOT be made with any water [main] or sewer SERVICE LINE[,]
THAT IS constructed or maintained by the [commission]
WSSC[,] without a permit and under [such] THE conditions [as
the commission may authorize] AUTHORIZED BY THE WSSC.

(2) [In order to prevent waste of water, the
commission shall have the right of entry] THE WSSC MAY ENTER
at reasonable hours [to] all buildings or premises having
any connection with the water supply or sewerage systems
under [its] THE jurisdiction OF THE WSSC TO PREVENT WASTE OF
WATER. [and] THE WSSC may order and require [such changes]
ANY CHANGE in [all] THE plumbing, waterworks, or water or
sewer connections as [it may deem] THE WSSC CONSIDERS
necessary to eliminate leakage, loss of water, or
unnecessary use of sewers.

(C)  (1) [No] A PERSON MAY NOT CONSTRUCT A private or
[semi-public] SEMIPUBLIC water supply or sewerage
installation intended for the use of [two] 2 or more
buildings or premises [shall be constructed] in the sanitary
district or elsewhere in Prince George's County without [the
person, firm or corporation doing the work having] first
[obtained] OBTAINING a permit from the [commission] WSSC and
[paid] PAYING a reasonable charge [therefor,] FOR THE
PERMIT.

(2)   [and such] THE plant [shall   then] SHALL be
installed, maintained, and operated under   [such] ANY rules
and regulations [as] THAT the [commission     may require or
devise] WSSC ADOPTS.

(3)  The [commission is authorized to] WSSC MAY
fix and collect from the owner or [operators] OPERATOR of
[such] THESE systems a reasonable fee for [its] supervision
and inspection OF THE SYSTEMS.

(D)   [Whenever] IF an owner or operator of [such] A
system fails or refuses to make any correction or fails or
refuses to maintain and operate the system in compliance
with the [commission's] requirements OF THE WSSC, the
[commission] WSSC may make the correction or[, if
necessary,] take over [for so long a period as may be
necessary for] the operation of the system FOR ANY PERIOD
NECESSARY and collect the costs [therefor] FOR THE
CORRECTION AND OPERATION from the owners or operators.
