(III) [provided the] THE master plumber
shall [have] first [posted] POST with the [commission] WSSC
an indemnity bond in an amount fixed by and with sureties
approved by the [commission,] WSSC. THE BOND SHALL
INDEMNIFY [indemnifying] the [commission] WSSC and[/or] any
state, county, or municipal authority having jurisdiction
over [any such] THE street against all loss, cost, or damage
[which] THAT may be [incurred or sustained] CAUSED by
[reason of] the master [plumbers] PLUMBER'S entering ON and
cutting into the street[, and] THE MASTER PLUMBER shall
[further] deposit with the [commission] WSSC in cash a sum
to be fixed by the [commission] WSSC to cover the cost of
resurfacing the cut [or cuts, and when any master plumber
has complied with the provisions of this section, he shall
not be required to have a permit from any municipal
authority to enter any state, county, or municipal street or
highway in the sanitary district, except streets, roads,
alleys, sidewalks or other public property under the
jurisdiction of Montgomery County, provided the].
(IV) THE ONLY PERMIT REQUIRED SHALL BE
THAT ISSUED BY THE WSSC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS SECTION. HOWEVER, THE master plumber shall notify the
authority having control of the street to be [so] entered
and cut of the time and nature of the work to be done.
(D) [Provided, however, that in Montgomery County, a
master plumber before] BEFORE cutting into any street, road,
alley, sidewalk or [other] public property under the
jurisdiction of Montgomery County, A MASTER PLUMBER shall
first secure a permit from Montgomery County, and SHALL pay
[such] A fee and comply with [such] regulations [as may be
prescribed] ESTABLISHED by Montgomery County.
[3-6.] 3-106. Acquisition of private or municipal water or
sewerage system.
(A) [Whenever the commission] IF THE WSSC [shall have
extended] EXTENDS its general water supply or sewerage
system [up] to [and is ready to connect with any] A
municipally [owned] or privately owned water supply or
sewerage system AND THE WSSC IS READY TO CONNECT WITH THE
SYSTEM, or [previously thereto] if [in its] THE WSSC
CONSIDERS [judgment] such action [is] TO BE expedient, [and
it deems it] advisable, and proper for the adequate
operation of the system under [its] THE WSSC'S jurisdiction
[to take over the water or sewerage system], [it] THE WSSC
may purchase the [same] SYSTEM [upon such terms and
conditions as may be agreed upon].
(B) [In the event of failure] IF THE WSSC AND THE
OWNER FAIL to agree [as] to the purchase price or conditions
of purchase of the water or sewerage system, [whether
privately or municipally owned,] the [commission] WSSC may
acquire the [same] SYSTEM by condemnation, [in the same
