(1) IF THE CLAIMED VALUE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE
EXCEEDS $250 $300, A FELONY AND 13 SUBJECT TO A FINE OF
$1,000 OR IMPRISONMENT FOR 2 YEARS OR BOTH; AND

(2). IF THE CLAIMED VALUE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE
DOES NOT EXCEED $250 $300, A MISDEMEANOR AND IS SUBJECT TO A
FINE OF $500 OR IMPRISONMENT FOR 6 MONTHS OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Tri-County Council of Southern Maryland

FOR the purpose of providing for the disposition of the
assets upon dissolution of the Tri-County Council of
Southern Maryland; and requiring the Tri-County Council
of Southern Maryland to submit its annual proposed work
program and operating budget report to the Department
of Economic and Community Development; and providing
that certain funds shall be transferred to the
Department of Economic and Community Development by an
approved budget amendment.
