BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(x) The BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WORCESTER
COUNTY SHALL DETERMINE THE COMPENSATION FOR judges of the
court for Worcester County [shall receive] BUT THE
COMPENSATION MAY NOT BE LESS THAN the sum of [$20] $30 for
every day's attendance upon the sessions of the court. The
judges shall also receive an allowance for traveling
expenses of $1,600 annually.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salaries of
the judges of the Orphans' Court for Worcester County in
office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions
of this Act concerning the salaries of the judges of the
Orphans' Court for Worcester County shall take effect at the
beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
