7-502. APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSIONS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

(1)  AN APPLICANT FOR AN ADMISSION TO A STATE
FACILITY SHALL SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE ADMINISTRATION
IN WRITING AND ON THE FORM THAT THE ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES.

(2)  AN APPLICANT FOR AN ADMISSION TO A PRIVATE
FACILITY SHALL SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE PRIVATE FACILITY
IN WRITING AND ON THE FORM THAT THE ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES.

(B)  UNDERSTANDING OF APPLICATION REQUIRED.

AN APPLICATION MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THE
APPLICANT UNDERSTANDS THE NATURE OF THE REQUEST.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a)(1) of this section is
new language derived without substantive change
from the first sentence, as that sentence related
to submission of an application,' and the entire
third sentence of former Article 59A, § 10(a).

Subsection (a)(2) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from the first
sentence, as that sentence related to submission
of an application, and the entire third sentence
of former Article 59A, § 11(a).

Subsection (b) of this section is new language
that combines, without substantive change, the
second sentences of former Article 59A, §§ 10(a)
and 11(a).

admission under subsection (a)(1) and (2) of this
section, see the General Revisor's Note to this
subtitle.
