SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 78B - Racing Commission

[28.

(a)  Notwithstanding any other provisions of this
article, racing may not be conducted on any Sunday at
licensed racetracks in Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel,
Baltimore, Howard, and Prince George's counties.

(b)   For any licensed racetrack in Worcester County,
racing may be conducted on Sunday with the approval of the
harness racing board and the County Commissioners.]

28.

(A)  NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS
ARTICLE, RACING MAY NOT BE CONDUCTED ON ANY SUNDAY AT ANY
TRACKS LICENSED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF § 7 OR 15 OF THIS
ARTICLE.

(B)  RACING MAY BE CONDUCTED ON ANY SUNDAY, WITH THE
APPROVAL OF THE APPROPRIATE BOARD, AT ANY TRACKS LICENSED
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF § 17 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

Arena Players Loan of 1979

FOR the purpose of suspending for a certain period certain
provisions relating to the time limit for placing under
contract projects under Chapter 473 of the Acts of
1979.

MARYLAND, That any provisions of the law imposing a time
limit for placing under contract projects listed in Chapter
473 of the Acts of 1979, be and they are hereby further
