SECTION 3. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Democratic Party Central Committee

FOR the purpose of altering the membership structure of the
Prince George's County Democratic Party central
committee; providing certain residency requirements for
certain party offices; making stylistic changes; and
generally relating to the manner of election of certain
party offices in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 33- Election Code

11-2.

(1) (1) In Prince George's County, the Democratic
Party central committee consists of [24] 15 22 members
elected by all the eligible voters in the county.

(2) Two members of the committee shall reside
in, AND BE ELECTED BY THE ELIGIBLE VOTERS OF each of the
[eight] legislative districts [in] THAT LIES WHOLLY WITHIN
Prince George's County.
