SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 25 - County Commissioners

122A.

(a) The county commissioners or county council of each
county in the State may adopt and promulgate rules and
regulations for the licensing, control, location and
maintenance within their respective limits of junkyards,
public or private dumps, automobile junkyards, automotive
dismantler and recycler facilities, SCRAP METAL PROCESSING
FACILITIES, or outdoor places where old motor vehicles are
stored in quantity or dismantled, and lots on which refuse,
trash or junk is deposited.

122B.

(a) In Charles County, any person, firm or corporation
who shall keep, maintain or operate in the county any
junkyard, dump, automobile junkyard, automotive dismantler
or recycler facility, SCRAP METAL PROCESSING FACILITY,
outdoor place where old motor vehicles are stored or
dismantled, or lot on which refuse, trash or junk is
deposited within two hundred (200) feet of any interstate,
State or county highway or road shall screen or fence said
premises in such manner that they are not visible from any
such road or highway.
