AN ACT concerning

State Prosecutor - Interception of Wire
or Oral Communication Powers and Tenure
in Office
Interception of Wire or Oral Communication

FOR the purpose of permitting the State Prosecutor to apply
for and obtain a court order authorizing the
interception of wire or oral communications by
investigative or law enforcement officers when such
interception may provide evidence of the commission of
certain crimes; and providing for the reprimand or
removal from office of the State Prosecutor under
certain circumstances. .

The Attorney General, STATE PROSECUTOR, or any State's
attorney may apply to a judge of competent jurisdiction, and
the judge, in accordance with the provisions of § 10-408 of
this article, may grant an order authorizing the
interception of wire or oral communications by investigative
or law enforcement officers when the interception may
