FOR the purpose of altering the size of the Workmen's
Compensation Commission; providing for continuing
education in occupational disease; abolishing
terminating the medical board of the Workmen's
Compensation Commission; empowering the Workmen's
Compensation Commission to hear and decide occupational
disease claims after a certain date; creating an
advisory list of physicians that may advise the
Commission upon its request; providing for the
qualifications and selection of physicians to the
advisory list; providing for the duties; functions, and
reimbursement of advising physicians; providing that
certain courts reviewing a Workmen's Compensation
Commission decision or appeal shall hear the matter de
nove; repealing, effective on a certain date, a
requirement that in certain appeals the findings of
fact by the Workmen's Compensation Commission shall be
final and not subject to review or modification by a
court or jury; clarifying language; and providing for
conducting a certain review for the purpose of making a
certain determination, involving the medical board of
the Workmen's Compensation Commission; generally
relating to occupational disease claims before the
Workmen's Compensation Commission; and providing an
effective date for certain enactments.
