(House Bill 1527)

AN ACT concerning

Controlled Hazardous Substances -
Driver Certification

FOR the purpose of establishing requirements for training
and certification of drivers of controlled hazardous
substances vehicles; defining certain terms; providing
for a certificate to be issued by the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene; and establishing
requirements pertaining to a controlled hazardous
substance vehicle driver and driver certificates, with
an exception; and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health - Environmental

Section 7-201(f), (g), (h), (i), (j), (k), (1), (m),

(n), and (o), 7-249(a), 7-252, and 7-253(3)

MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

General Assembly of 1982) read(s) as follows:

Article - Health - Environmental

7-201.

(F) "CONTROLLED HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE VEHICLE DRIVER"
MEANS A PERSON WHOM THE DEPARTMENT HAS CERTIFIED TO OPERATE
A CONTROLLED HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE VEHICLE.

[(f)] (G) "Council" means the Controlled Hazardous

Substances Council.
