2948                                      LAWS OF MARYLAND                                    Ch. 430

(1)  The Mental Retardation AND DEVELOPMENTAL
DISABILITIES Administration;

(2)  The Mental Hygiene Administration; or

(3)  The guardian or any other person who has a
legitimate interest in the welfare of the individual.

7-1001.

This title may be cited as the "Maryland Mental
Retardation AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES Law".

8-203.

(b) The Director shall report to the. Assistant
Secretary for Mental Health [and] , MENTAL RETARDATION,
Addictions , AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

8-205.

(b) Subject to the administrative control of the
Director of Education and Training in the office of the
Assistant Secretary for Mental Health [and} , MENTAL
RETARDATION, Addictions, AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, the
Administration shall prepare and publish:

(1)   Educational material on prevention and
treatment of alcoholism and rehabilitation of alcoholics;
and

(2)  Educational material on the problems of
intoxication and alcoholism in this     State for use in a
program to prevent the excessive and abusive use of
alcoholic beverages.

9-203.

(a) (2) The Director shall report to the Assistant
Secretary for Mental Health [and] , MENTAL RETARDATION,
Addictions , AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

9-205.

Subject to the administrative control of the Director
of Education and Training in the office of the Assistant
Secretary for Mental Health [and] , MENTAL RETARDATION,
Addictions, AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, the
Administration:

(1) Either alone or with other public or private
agencies, shall provide education and training in the
prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and
control of drug abuse for medical students, physicians,
