SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

11-103.

(a) The Maryland Energy Office shall establish a
program for the storage of [heating] AND OTHER MIDDLE
DISTILLATE oil for State use.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

(House Bill 436)

AN ACT concerning

Natural Resources - Sediment Control

FOR the purpose of amending the Sediment Control Law to
change the effective date for training responsible
personnel; allowing any governmental entity authorized
to approve grading and sediment control plans to waive
the requirement to have responsible personnel on a
project involving 4 or fewer residential units; and by
allowing others in addition to Soil Conservation
Districts to develop and conduct training programs if
the program content and instructor meet the
requirements set by the Department of Natural
Resources.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
