(1) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS
SUBSECTION, the board of license commissioners may not
approve any license to sell alcoholic beverages within 500
feet of a secondary or elementary school, church, or other
places of worship, public library, or youth center sponsored
or conducted by any governmental agency. Measurement of the
required distance shall be made from the nearest point of
the building of the proposed establishment for which the
license is required to the nearest point of the property
line of the school, church, or other place of worship,
public library, or youth center.
(2) WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF
CENTREVILLE, THE DISTANCE REQUIREMENT FOR A BEER, WINE, AND
LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS B (ON SALE), AND CLASS B (ON SALE,
SPECIAL SUNDAY) - HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS, SHALL BE 250 FEET
FROM ANY SECONDARY OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, CHURCH OR OTHER
PLACE OF WORSHIP, PUBLIC LIBRARY, OR YOUTH CENTER SPONSORED
OR CONDUCTED BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
does not apply to, affect or prohibit, in any manner, the
renewal or transfer of any beer, wine, and liquor class B
(on sale) and class B (on sale, special Sunday) - hotels and
restaurants alcoholic beverages license within the corporate
limits of the town of Centreville in Queen Anne's County.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning
Real Property - Redemption of Reversions
FOR the purpose of altering the capitalization percentage
rate allowed for redemption of lease reversions after a
certain date; providing that the reversion of a lease
executed on or after a certain date is redeemable at
the expiration of a certain number of years; providing
that regulatory changes by certain federal agencies,
instrumentalities or subsidiaries be applicable to the
redemption of reversions of certain leases; providing
for a certain period of time within which this Act
shall be effective; and making stylistic changes.
